The Story

Hi!
I'm Lauren, the face and hands behind Edie & Joe, which is named after my lovely Grandparents.
​
I am a fashion design graduate with years of experience in the clothing industry. Outside of work, sewing, pattern cutting and designing has always been more than just a hobby, it was only a matter of time before it became a business.
​
The first bunny soft toy was made as a Christmas gift in 2013 and was named Flopsy. From this first Instagram post it became so popular that it inspired the launch of the Edie & Joe brand on Etsy in June 2015.
The product range has since grown, and I now stock a variety of different soft toys as well as nursery decorations such as cushions, blankets and prints. All of my products are handmade by myself, in my home studio in Yorkshire.
The best feeling is knowing I have put a smile on a little one's face, and created something they can cherish forever.

From a small idea to a growing brand, I am excited to see what the future holds for Edie & Joe whilst continuing to spread the happiness!

Safety & care
The best care is taken when designing and making all Edie & Joe products to give peace of mind to our customers and ourselves. Our handmade soft toys are tested to and pass the European Safety Standard for toys: EN71 parts 1, 2 & 3 for all ages, and bare the CE mark. Our cushions use filling which complies to B.S 5852 part 2.
Wash care instructions are included on our soft items, please read carefully upon purchase. Do not leave items in a cot/crib unattended and keep away from fire.
